Anthony Pantaleno, Ph.D. is a retired School Psychologist of 38 years from the Elwood School District in East Northport, Long Island. Dr. Pantaleno was the 2013 National Association of School Psychologists School Practitioner of the Year, the 2008 New York Association of School Psychologists Practitioner of the Year and the 2008 and 2016 Suffolk County Psychological Association Psychologist of the Year. He has co-authored a chapter on mindfulness in the Guide to Cognitive Behavior Therapies: A Guide for Practitioners (2018 , and a chapter in the book Perspectives on School Crisis: Reflections From the Field (2018). Dr. Pantaleno is the former coordinator of the Long Island School Practitioner Action Network (LISPAN), maintains a private practice in Commack, Long Island, and may be visited on the web at www.drpantaleno.com.
